A letter from Oct 08, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Where are you? Did you get Youth of the Year? Did you win nationals? Are you better at public speaking, unlike now? Because right now, I'm crazy terrified about it all. Did you finally get your drivers license? How's your father? He still can't seem to get the hang of helping himself, and the mention of divorce is still making it difficult. Please stay strong and don't let it **** you. Is my mom ok? Or, at least better? I know this is so, so hard for her. How are your siblings? They start preschool really, really soon and I'm going to be a big baby and cry. I'm not ready for my little baby brother and sister to go to school. Have you started college yet? This is my final year of high school, and I am terrified. Did you graduate with the GPA you wanted? What college did you choose? Did your degree stay the same? I still really want to be a Child Life Specialist. How's Abi and Elye? I know things with Abi are a little hard right now, but I think we'll get through it. Is she doing better dealing with thoughts and feelings about Matthew? I really need her to stay strong. I know she can. Are we still close with Elye? How is she doing too? Life is ******* scary.
